what's next?

Monday 24th of August we are invited for a meeting with our client. We arrive there at 9:45. The previous day, Sunday, I had worked all day to prepare the final reports for the finishing of the works and all the rest of papers.

The meeting is opened by the president of the bank (our client is/was a bank). He told us, with all the respect, our contract has been resided and that our work for the project has ended. Because we were not able to finish the project in time, because I don’t have enough experience…

After the meeting on the way back my boss was trying to comfort me: “They might have had this move in plans from the very beginning so that they should not have to pay our last bill.”
I felt bad that my first project ended like this… I was not sure how my bigger boss will receive the news.

At the office I tried to talk to my bigger boss: “Stop chasing me!!!! Can’t you see I am busy!?!?!?!?!!!! Talk to my assistant!” – Well sorry mam’ I’ve only thought that you entered our office to listen to our problems…

After a couple of hours she see me on the hallway: “Your supervisor told me of the meeting with the bank. Is ok!”

At the end I took the taxi to the bank to leave all the documents I had to leave at the end of the project. On the way the cab driver was telling me trigonometry formulas: “Which is the fundamental equation of trigonometry?”…”cos2α+sin2α=1”…”But this is not the fundamental one!” – I say. “…because this equation is based on what sin and cos means and as well on Pythagoras formula.” - “No take left here on Polona street – there are less cars”.
We ended up on a street that was repairing and only half of it was working. We enter on it cause was free, and mid through another taxi was coming from the opposite direction. My driver starts to swear. “Go back! Go back!” The other one no and no he waited half an hour to enter the street. we have to go back like 4 5 meters to let the other one pass by…. Now my driver is really pissed off! He starts to push out the street the signs that were restricting the circulation on the street, he yells at the workers: “You and your damn repairements – all town is a crater” – he was right about the last part!

We pass by a sign that was on my side: he tells me to push it! And I stretch the widow and I push it till it falls!: “Now you’re dead son of a bitch!”. Workers were looking puzzled….

Well I killed the sign!

I am feeling ok that, finally, this project ended.. it started to be really boring and very long. Almost too long!

What next? I hope they will give me a new project I hope they won’t put me again to do translations which is shit!

Faculty is finished! Now I am thinking what’s next.. should I enter the masters? Should I start thinking how to leave this FUBAR country?

Short term I am thinking how to move out of my parents’ and then how to make more money!

going at office by metro

..heavy night last night... I went back home at 7 to get ready for office. I had a shower, shaved, changed my clothes and then i went to metro..... I have to be at the office at 9 but today I wanted to arrive earlier because I was expecting to meet my boss...

Hence I hurried up and I’ve arrived at the metro entrance at 8:30… I hurry downstairs and before reaching the platform I see the subway already in the station…crowds of people were trying to squeeze in the train… there were 2 attempts to close the doors, without any success…. I stopped hurrying, I calmed down and I decided to wait the other train…

After the train left the station, the platform was still crowded… more people were coming as time passed and soon the platform, after 7 – 10 minutes, was overcrowded by hurried people at just like me…

Finally the train arrives, we start to squeeze in… a voice in the speakers says: “The next train will arrive in 1 minute. Please allow the doors to close!” naturally none was listeing, everyone wanted to arrive at work sooner even with one minute..., the voice in the speaker repeats: “The next train will arrive in 1 minute. Please allow the doors to close!”- same effect… finally the doors closes.

I was thinking that it would have been better to use the Japanese method, to hire people to push the crowds in the train to allow the doors to close, by using some white gloves.

Only that in Romania they would use some “T”-end sticks (like those you use to wipe the floors) with which they will push us in the trains…

I started laughing in the train, trying to keep my balance because people were pushing me,by pressing my hand in the ceiling of the wagon...

PS: I will post a pic of the metro soon
