Romania's adheration to the EU

Which is Romania's image now in the eve of the EU adheration?

An old woman, half gypsy, that is sitting on the doorstep of a shop in the centre of Stockholm.
Next to her a cardboard saying: “I am from Romania”.

She is not asking anymore for money; people is giving her money anyway when they read the cardboard.

I have a strong feeling that the Romania's image is only getting better on paper and not in reality.

There are so many things Romania has to do to improve the life standard of its own people.
For example: as a young person, that is working, i can't buy a house to live in because i can't afford! Normally in Romania parents would help their kids to buy a house. However if you want to relay on your own, if your parents can't afford this either the only thing left is to stay in with your parents. Now i understand why there are so many people that until teh age of 35 are staying with their moms and dads until they get married.
Yesterday I've been to the bank to ask about a loan. They said that considering my salary they can't help me with the sum i need. But as an alterantive solution they recommended me to get married to get the loan I need to buy a house. :(((

Usually a healthy state, that takes care of its citizens, including their younger generation, would provide support mechanism to allow youth to be independent and realise their lives form early start.
But this is not the case in Romania.

No wonder so many young people leave this country. No wonder the active population is less than the retired population. No wonder the economy can't be sustainable unless the Romanian state will take care about the youth rights and support them.
