Ultimate survivor

Hi boys and girls,

Today I'm gonna write about Bear Grylls the guy from the Ultimate Survivor from National Geographic.
Though it is not the first time i caught his shows on tv it is only today when i had been staying in bed for the last couple of days that inspired me to write.

I must admit: his adventures are awsome. For an open air person, which loves climbing / mountains / trails & stuff he should shine as an icon. However my problem is that he is making a very comercial thing which, at times, looks artificial and false. I wonder if he indeed is not using any of the cameraman supplies or help. (in any case speaking about the camera guys they seem pretty fit and up to it either - maybe they should wrote a book either - if they are under no word of a contract that ban this before 10 years or so).

Yes i would glide into ice tunnels or wild forest or even lava tubes and shear clifs and rocks. But i wonder if i would really eat raw fish, or touch bear's poo to proove how brave I am.

Looking at his personal site (http://www.beargrylls.com/index.html) it makes you indeed be amazed of the life of this guy. He is married, have a kid and he is a fine believer of Christianity and God (as he admits in his blog on Wednesday, 24 October 2007: "[...]my Christian faith…I look at this as the thread that binds all these other elements together. I pray daily for my family and we also have little quiet times together, and I pray hard when out filming for safety, good judgement and for protection in all the dangers. [...]"). ... W O W.....!!!

Now - that's truely something - and if you girls wouldn't admit that, than I think you're all gay. (though i don't believe that since on the forums they cherish him greatly)

Other points that strikes me: he likes posing a lot. On the internet you can find lots of pics with him. He also have his camera team. Yes some paid guys that have to make his "wild" show to look professional. Now - isn't this really the base of the artificial within?
